PhD candidate Arzije Ameti was born February 19, 1998, in Vranje – Serbia. She finished primary and secondary school in Bujanovac, Serbija, and form 2016/2020 she studied at International Balkan University in Skopje in the Faculty of Education in English Language and Teaching department, and she graduated in 2020 where she acquired the title Bachelor of Arts in English Language Teaching.
During her studies she has shown outstanding performance, where in 2019 she was decorated by the Islamic Youth Forum in Skopje as the “Best student of Faculty of Education at International Balkan University. Also, in 2021 she has been proudly presented to a Certificate of Excellence from International Balkan University for her outstanding performance in undergraduate studies of English Language Teaching at the Faculty of Education with Grade Point Average (GPA) 9,64. After completing her Bachelor studies, she has been working as a substitute teacher in a primary school in Bujanovac, as well as she was a member of the Cultural Association “Dituria” in Bujanovac, where she has been working in different projects for the youth and immigrants, as well as conducted English language courses for children and adults. From 2021 until 2023, she has worked as an English language lecturer at International Balkan University in English Language school.
She completed her Master studies in English language Teaching in 2020/2022, and has defended the master thesis in November 2, 2022, with the following topic: „Using Gamification to Enhance EFL Learners’ Pronunciation“. The title she acquired is: Master of Arts in English Language Teaching. Recently, she has enrolled PhD studies at the Faculty of Education in English Language and Literature department at International Balkan University in Skopje, North Macedonia.
